BS in Anesthesia Technology is a four-year bachelor program and is momentous part of anesthesia team goals to manage patient’s pain throughout the surgery.
Anesthesia technologists are involved with all aspects of care delivery to all patients who are in need for preoperative anesthetic care and provide a key role in the emergency recovery of patients, considering the patient’s privacy and dignity at all times. They will be able to handle anesthesia machine, mechanical ventilators, anesthesia drugs, oxygen delivery devices, monitoring equipment and supplies for procedures per department expectations and according to scope of practice.

CAREER PROSPECTS:
Anesthesia technology is an emerging discipline of Allied Health Profession. Anesthesiologist assistants are highly trained anesthetists who work under the direction of licensed physician anesthesiologists as integral members of the Anesthesia Care Team (ACT).
Anesthesiologists have key roles in major trauma, resuscitation, airway management, and caring for other patients outside the operating theatre who have critical emergencies that pose an immediate threat to life.
